He even says blue are the feelings that live inside me, probably a hint he has like lifetime depression that's on and off or something. But definitely a song about depression. definitely why everything is the same color (and the color of sadness and depression) is because its all the same and everything is just "eh" not even his girlfriend is viewed differently than a tree by him.
