What happened to Steven Crowder?

Crowder, 34, is in the hospital again following a lung collapse.

Back June 2021, Crowder underwent surgery to correct a “genetic defect” and had been documenting his recovery for fans when he posted on Twitter July 26 that he was back in the hospital.

“Last night took a turn for the worse,” Crowder informed his fans. “Every actually get so close that you can physically feel death? He’s a d**k.”

Despite serious concerns, Crowder then went on to reassure his fans that he is on the road to recovery, again.

“The good new is, it’s fixable and these things happen. I’ll be back before you know it. Thanks for the support.”

What surgery did Steven Crowder have?

Crowder revealed that he had a connective tissue disorder, that caused his chest to cave in on his heart.

As a result of his condition, Crowder underwent a pectus surgery, which is meant to fix the shape of the bone that is in the middle of the chest.

While Crowder has not specifically stated the genetic condition he has, the surgery he had is one of the treatment routes for someone who has moderate or severe symptoms from Pectus Excavatum.

Pectus Excavatum is a condition that causes the breastbone to sink into the chest.

Was Steven Crowder suspended from YouTube?

Crowder is known for his conservative late night comedy show that he posts on YouTube.

Back in March 2021, Crowder was suspended from Youtube after violating the presidential election integrity policy by questioning the legitimacy of the election results in Nevada.

As a result, Crowder was suspended for one week and removed from the YouTube Partner Program indefinitely, which is responsible for running ads and producing revenue on the platform.

Crowder was previously removed from the program back in 2019 in relation to homophobic harassment against Carlos Maza and it took him over a year to get reinstated.

On YouTube, he has over 5.49 million subscribers and over 1.3 billion views.
